Job Summary

Contributing to the MARS Cultural Annotation Project, the part-time hourly Cultural Data Annotator will provide insights into Singaporean cultural values and perspectives while working remotely to enhance the training of culturally aware AI systems.

Key responsibilities

• Complete validated survey questionnaires and annotate AI-generated responses to reflect authentic cultural understanding
• Distinguish between cultural and personal perspectives to ensure annotations align with societal norms in Singapore
• Meet minimum productivity targets by completing a balanced mix of Create, Select, and Refine annotation tasks

Required qualifications

• Native-level fluency in English
• Strong familiarity with Singaporean culture and societal values
• Current residency in Singapore
• Reliable internet connection and access to a computer
• No prior annotation experience is required
