Building engaging educational content, the full-time Curriculum Writer will develop a comprehensive student lesson book for grades 5-12, creating clear explanations and instructional narratives based on an existing curriculum framework while ensuring alignment with student worksheets.
Key responsibilities
- Write definitions, concept explanations, and instructional narratives for the student lesson book based on the existing curriculum outline
- Ensure new lesson content aligns with existing student worksheets and adjust them for consistency as needed
- Incorporate feedback from the curriculum lead into revisions and support content development for new curriculum tracks
Required qualifications
- Strong writing and editing background in children's educational content or curriculum writing for grades 5-12
- Ability to translate complex concepts into age-appropriate explanations
- Experience working from an existing outline or framework
