Job Summary
Participating in a year-long formal training program, the full-time remote Associate Customer Care Specialist will respond to customer inquiries regarding health insurance products and services through various communication channels after completing the training requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Engages in phased classroom and on-the-job training to acquire necessary knowledge and skills
- Handles routine to moderately complex customer inquiries via telephone, email, chat, and in-person interactions
- Performs additional duties as assigned to support customer care operations
Required qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Two years of customer service experience in Healthcare, Banking, Retail, Hospitality, or a related industry, preferably in a contact center
- Basic computer navigation and Microsoft Office skills
- Knowledge of standard customer service practices and principles
- Basic knowledge of health insurance products and services preferred
