Job Summary
Driving commercial performance through strategic distributor partnerships, the remote Customer Development Manager will manage relationships, execute growth strategies, and influence merchandising programs to maximize distribution and sales velocity.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the strategic relationship with assigned distributors, including Joint Business Planning (JBP)
- Develop and execute growth strategies focused on distribution expansion and assortment optimization
- Lead execution of the indirect selling model and drive new item launches within distributor systems
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience preferred, with a minimum of 2 years managing large customers
- Distributor experience (e.g., UNFI, KeHE) preferred
- Experience managing indirect selling models in consumer goods
- Prior experience using syndicated data to inform pricing and promotional strategies
