Job Summary
To provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, the full-time Customer Engagement Representative will act as a patient advocate, handling inquiries and resolving issues through various communication channels while ensuring a first-call resolution.
Key responsibilities
- Manage high volumes of inbound/outbound interactions, addressing customer inquiries and coordinating healthcare services such as appointment scheduling and record updates
- Utilize critical thinking to resolve complex customer issues and provide accurate information regarding plan benefits and healthcare navigation
- Document interactions concisely and accurately while maintaining professionalism and supporting a patient-centered culture
Required qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in customer service, healthcare, or health insurance, or successful completion of Customer Engagement Representative 1
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to type an average of 40 WPM
- Working-level knowledge of the English language, with a college degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills; ability to speak Spanish is desired
- Certification as a Certified Medical Insurance Specialist is preferred
