Job Summary
Serving as the voice of the company, the full-time Customer Engagement Specialist will provide empathetic and efficient service to members and providers through various communication channels, including inbound and outbound calls, while navigating the complexities of healthcare benefits and care management.
Key responsibilities
- Provide timely and accurate service to customers through multiple communication channels, ensuring a positive experience
- Educate customers on healthcare benefits and assist with enrollment in care management programs
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues by collaborating with internal departments and documenting interactions thoroughly
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a healthcare setting or related outbound calling roles
- At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare contact center environment
- Strong empathy and ability to build rapport with diverse individuals
- Proficiency with computer systems, including CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
