Job Summary
Supporting members and providers in a remote capacity, the Customer Experience Associate will manage incoming and outgoing calls regarding healthcare benefits, facilitate care services, and ensure outstanding customer service while residing in Hawaii.
Key responsibilities
- Research and communicate medical information regarding claims, member eligibility, and authorization inquiries while maintaining confidentiality
- Meet key performance indicators and service standards, demonstrating compassion to members and providers
- Assemble and enter patient information into appropriate systems, while identifying and responding to crisis calls with the right resources
Required qualifications
- 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or healthcare environment
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability to talk and type simultaneously while navigating multiple computer applications
- Flexibility in scheduling and comfort with changes in a dynamic customer service environment
- Commitment to meeting monthly individual call center metrics and participating in training evaluations
