Job Summary

Supporting Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) customer programs, the full-time Customer Programs Support Specialist will process applications, respond to customer inquiries through various channels, maintain CRM records, and assist with reports and dashboards while ensuring compliance with SMUD-approved procedures.

Key responsibilities
  • Review customer program applications and rebate submissions for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain customer and program records in Salesforce and other approved tools
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide follow-up communications regarding application status
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience in customer or program support
  • Experience communicating with customers through various support channels in a professional setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Teams, and shared document systems
  • Ability to learn and navigate CRM or case management systems, with Salesforce experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
