Job Summary

Supporting customer programs for the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD), the full-time Customer Programs Support Specialist will process applications, respond to inquiries via various channels, maintain CRM records, and assist with reporting and surveys.

Key responsibilities
  • Review customer program applications and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Respond to customer inquiries through approved communication channels using established templates and guidelines
  • Maintain and update customer records in Salesforce and other CRM systems while supporting rebate processing and documentation tracking
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience in customer support or program administration
  • Experience communicating with customers through various support channels in a professional setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Teams, and shared document systems
  • Ability to learn and utilize CRM and case management systems, with Salesforce experience preferred
  • Demonstrated customer service mindset and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
