Customer Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Customer Reliability Engineer specializing in Airflow will provide expertise to customers using the managed Airflow service, solve complex issues, and contribute to side projects while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support and solutions for Apache Airflow issues, optimizing configurations and identifying bugs
• Collaborate with customers' data engineers and DevOps teams to enhance their use of Airflow and ensure smooth operations
• Engage in side projects that contribute to the company's success and participate in a paid on-call rotation for weekend coverage

Required qualifications

• Background in data engineering
• 4 years of experience with Python
• 1 year of experience in Airflow administration and DAG creation
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or containers
• Familiarity with distributed systems on major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
