Customer Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Customer Reliability Engineer will provide expertise in Apache Airflow to customers, solving complex issues and optimizing configurations while collaborating with data engineers and DevOps teams.
Key responsibilities
- Solve challenging Airflow problems for customers, optimizing configurations and identifying bugs
- Own the customer experience by prioritizing and resolving issues, meeting SLAs, and providing guidance
- Participate in side projects contributing to Astronomer's success, including open-source contributions and internal system development
Required qualifications
- Data Engineering background
- 4 years of experience with Python
- 1 year of experience in Airflow administration and DAG creation
- Experience with Kubernetes/Docker/Containers
- Experience working with a distributed system with any major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure)
