Job Summary

Providing first-level problem resolution, the full-time Customer Service Advocate will assist members, providers, and brokers with inquiries related to product information, benefits, claims resolution, eligibility, and billing in a remote call center environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Respond to inquiries via telephone, gathering information and resolving issues based on policies and procedures
  • Educate customers on product utilization and limitations, interpreting contractual language as needed
  • Maintain accurate customer records and document interactions according to departmental procedures
Required qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Less than one year of customer service experience
  • Familiarity with medical or insurance terminology is preferred
  • Successful completion of provided training
  • Demonstrated PC navigation and data entry skills
