Job Summary
Providing first-level problem resolution, the full-time Customer Service Advocate will assist members, providers, and brokers with inquiries related to product information, benefits, claims resolution, eligibility, and billing in a remote call center environment.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to inquiries via telephone, gathering information and resolving issues based on policies and procedures
- Educate customers on product utilization and limitations, interpreting contractual language as needed
- Maintain accurate customer records and document interactions according to departmental procedures
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Less than one year of customer service experience
- Familiarity with medical or insurance terminology is preferred
- Successful completion of provided training
- Demonstrated PC navigation and data entry skills
