Job Summary
A company is looking for a Customer Service and Collections Representative.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage patient accounts, including cash collection and resolution of self-pay balances
- Negotiate payment arrangements and validate account balances through various communication methods
- Provide information regarding the Financial Assistance Program and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a healthcare environment preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare account management with customer service preferred
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and PC applications
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-stress environment
