Job Summary
A company is looking for a Customer Service Representative 1.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate payment with patients/guarantors and respond to customer inquiries regarding healthcare accounts
- Meet or exceed performance objectives related to account resolution and collections
- Maintain accurate documentation and perform routine tasks related to patient accounts
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 3 years of experience in a call center or similar role within the healthcare revenue cycle
- Expert knowledge of patient access services and the revenue cycle
- Experience in handling high volumes of inbound or outbound calls
- Understanding of medical collection terminology and compliance protocols
