Job Summary
Customer Service Representative provides part-time customer service in a virtual call center environment, responding to inquiries regarding insurance policies and performing related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to telephone inquiries from policyholders, beneficiaries, and agents regarding insurance policies
- Access and update software system data to provide accurate information on benefits and claims status
- Maintain knowledge of company products and services while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; six months related call center experience preferred
- Ability to type at least 30 wpm with 95% accuracy
- Must pass background screening and drug tests
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with a reliable internet connection
- Timely responses from three professional references required
