Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Customer Service Representative will ensure timely and courteous resolution of customer inquiries, document interactions, and strive for first-time resolution while managing multiple tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Communicate clearly with customers to resolve issues related to health insurance products and services
- Document detailed information of customer interactions in the appropriate software systems
- Maintain product knowledge and assist customers with benefits and eligibility inquiries
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years' experience in a specialized customer service environment or two years of college coursework plus one year of relevant experience
- Ability to pass the company proficiency test: Customer Service Assessment
- Strong understanding of HIPAA guidelines and customer privacy standards
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for documentation and communication
