Job Summary
To support patient billing inquiries, the full-time Customer Service Representative will manage the resolution of billing concerns, implement collection policies, and assist patients with payment arrangements while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Resolve patient billing and third-party payer concerns accurately and timely
- Interview and counsel patients regarding payment arrangements and charity assistance
- Post data such as payments and adjustments as needed, ensuring accurate account management
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience in a healthcare setting
- One year of previous customer service experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology and collection procedures preferred
- Familiarity with Medicare reimbursement processes and related regulations
