Job Summary

Promoting favorable relationships with patients, providers, and payers, the full-time Customer Service Representative will manage incoming inquiries and complaints related to billing and claims while working remotely from home.

Key responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries regarding billing, claims, and payments
  • Document customer interactions and resolve issues promptly to ensure patient satisfaction
  • Communicate recurring issues to management and maintain confidentiality of all information
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in business administration is preferred
  • Two years of collection experience or equivalent education and experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Proficiency in insurance processing and familiarity with CPT, ICD-9, and ASA codes
  • Ability to effectively use the IDX practice management system
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
