Job Summary
To support a dedicated team, the part-time, remote Customer Service Representative will respond to customer inquiries regarding insurance benefits, provider contracts, and claims while ensuring compliance with service metrics and maintaining positive customer relations.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to customer questions via telephone, email, and written correspondence regarding insurance benefits and claims
- Research and resolve customer service issues while documenting interactions for tracking and analysis
- Meet or exceed departmental performance metrics and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal departments
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or GED with 1-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment
- Knowledge of health benefits and eligibility is preferred
- Proficient in written communication and able to navigate multiple software systems
- Ability to meet or exceed departmental service metrics and adapt to a changing environment
- Fluent in English (oral and written); bilingual in Spanish is preferred
