Job Summary

To support a dedicated team, the part-time, remote Customer Service Representative will respond to customer inquiries regarding insurance benefits, provider contracts, and claims while ensuring compliance with service metrics and maintaining positive customer relations.

Key responsibilities
  • Respond to customer questions via telephone, email, and written correspondence regarding insurance benefits and claims
  • Research and resolve customer service issues while documenting interactions for tracking and analysis
  • Meet or exceed departmental performance metrics and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal departments
Required qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED with 1-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment
  • Knowledge of health benefits and eligibility is preferred
  • Proficient in written communication and able to navigate multiple software systems
  • Ability to meet or exceed departmental service metrics and adapt to a changing environment
  • Fluent in English (oral and written); bilingual in Spanish is preferred
