Job Summary
Providing customer service in a virtual call center environment, the part-time hourly Customer Service Representative will respond to inquiries from policyholders and providers regarding insurance policies, ensuring accurate information and follow-up support.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to telephone inquiries from clients regarding insurance benefits and claims status
- Research and retrieve information from company records to assist customers with their inquiries
- Maintain knowledge of company products and services while complying with privacy regulations
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with six months of related call center experience
- Intermediate computer skills and ability to enter data accurately in a Windows-based environment
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally with customers and colleagues
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated remote work location free from distractions
