Job Summary
To support healthcare revenue cycle improvements, the full-time Customer Service Representative will resolve patient accounts by negotiating payments, providing customer service support, and collaborating with clients and government agencies in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Negotiate payment with patients/guarantors through inbound and outbound calls while addressing inquiries related to insurance and healthcare
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient encounters and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs)
- Analyze account discrepancies and collaborate with internal departments to facilitate efficient account handling
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 3 years of experience in a call center environment or similar role within the healthcare revenue cycle
- Expert knowledge of patient access services and medical terminology
- Demonstrated ability to manage escalated calls and mentor team members
- Must be available to work a scheduled shift between 9:30 AM ET and 9 PM ET
