Job Summary

Providing exceptional support to callers, the full-time remote Customer Service Representative will assist with medical record requests, offer status updates, and route calls to appropriate departments while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Key responsibilities:
  • Assist incoming callers with submitting medical record requests
  • Provide status updates regarding requests and route calls internally as needed
  • Open and scan incoming mail and perform other assigned duties
Required qualifications:
  • 1 year of experience in a medical records department or similar setting preferred
  • Minimum of 6 months of inbound call center experience required
  • Strong technical and computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Understanding of HIPAA Privacy laws and compliance standards
  • Ability to type 50 wpm and operate fax, copier, and scanning machines
