Job Summary
Providing essential support to patients and referral sources, the full-time remote Customer Service Representative for Negative Pressure Wound Therapy will manage new order intake, conduct insurance verification, and ensure accurate processing of patient care information.
Key responsibilities
- Manage initial intake processes, including answering calls, collecting patient information, and processing paperwork
- Conduct insurance verification and eligibility checks, while collecting co-pays and deductible amounts
- Provide education and technical assistance to patients and referral sources regarding services and third-party billing
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience in the medical field and administrative record management preferred
- Knowledge of insurance policies and medical billing practices preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology preferred
- One year of related work experience preferred
