Job Summary
To support patient inquiries, the full-time remote Customer Service Representative (Verification of Benefits) will manage incoming calls from patients and attorneys, resolving billing issues and providing information on medical insurance terminology.
Key responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls to resolve problems and answer questions related to billing
- Communicate revenue cycle outcomes and processes effectively to callers
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while managing multiple tasks
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required; 1 year of related healthcare and/or call center experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical insurance terminology
- Familiarity with customer service department policies and procedures
- Ability to learn quickly and meet production and quality goals
- Reliable team-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal skills
