Job Summary
To support a mission-driven organization, the full-time Customer Service Representative will manage customer inquiries regarding insurance benefits, provider contracts, and claims, while working remotely and ensuring adherence to performance metrics.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to customer questions via phone, email, and written correspondence in a professional and ethical manner
- Analyze and resolve customer issues while maintaining accurate documentation of interactions for tracking and analysis
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely handling of customer requests and to identify and suggest improvements for operational efficiencies
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or GED with 1-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment
- Knowledge of health benefits and eligibility is preferred
- Proficient in written communication and capable of navigating multiple software systems
- Ability to meet or exceed departmental service metrics and adapt to a constantly changing environment
- Fluent in English (oral and written) required; bilingual in Spanish preferred
