Job Summary
Providing essential call center support, the full-time Customer Service Representative will assist military members, retirees, and dependents with inquiries related to TRICARE and Medicare benefits, claims, and billing, while working the second shift from 10:25 AM to 7:00 PM CST.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for members and medical providers, addressing inquiries about benefits, eligibility, and claims
- Respond to an average of 80 or more inbound calls and written inquiries daily, ensuring accurate and clear communication
- Utilize multiple systems to research and resolve complex inquiries while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with regulatory guidelines
Required qualifications
- U.S. citizenship is required due to Department of Defense restrictions
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- At least 1 year of customer service experience in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and customer service software
- Ability to handle difficult situations with empathy and patience, while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail
