Job Summary
A company is looking for a Customer Service Representative I in the Patient Contact Center for Billing and Collections.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound patient calls related to collection activities
- Research and document account details, addressing patient inquiries and concerns
- Refer accounts to bad debt agencies as necessary and maintain detailed notes on interactions
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year of collection experience, preferably in a healthcare or call center setting
- Solid knowledge of patient collections and bad debt procedures
- Ability to work independently within established guidelines
- Familiarity with various systems to perform daily job duties
