Job Summary
Working fully remote, the Customer Service Specialist will manage incoming and outgoing communications with providers and members via phone, live chat, and secure email, focusing on inquiries related to claim status and benefits.
Key responsibilities
- Answer provider and enrollee questions regarding claim status and benefits through phone, live chat, and secure email
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to claims and benefits for both providers and members
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support team objectives and enhance customer service delivery
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years of related experience
- Proficient PC skills, including email, record keeping, and database activity
- Previous call center experience preferred
- Medical insurance background is preferred
- Experience in a professional office environment with proven customer service skills
