Job Summary
Providing exceptional client-focused support, the full-time Customer Service Specialist will manage requests for medical records, monitor communication channels, and ensure accurate documentation while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor company emails, faxes, and chat lines to assist requestors with the status of medical records
- Field communications to appropriate departments and ensure detailed notes are recorded in Med-Release
- Meet daily goals for resolving emails and faxes while providing guidance on submitting requests and downloading records
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous medical records experience; knowledge of HIPAA preferred but not required
- Ability to type 35+ WPM and proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task effectively
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong customer empathy
