Job Summary
To support a growing health information management company, the full-time Customer Service Specialist will process medical record requests, assist with overflow processing, and ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Process medical record requests efficiently within 24-48 hours of receipt
- Monitor and manage incoming requests while providing phone coverage for client needs
- Assist in overflow processing during high volume periods and report on request volume and issues
Required qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage high volumes of requests
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality requirements
- Dependable with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Strong team player with the ability to support colleagues as needed
- Entry-level position; prior experience in customer service or healthcare is a plus
