Job Summary
Providing essential clerical support, the full-time Customer Service Specialist will manage office tasks, answer and screen calls, and assist visitors while working remotely from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Key responsibilities
- Provide general office support and handle a variety of clerical tasks to ensure smooth operations
- Answer and screen incoming calls, directing callers to the appropriate associate or voicemail
- Receive, sort, and forward incoming mail and publications, as well as manage package deliveries
Required qualifications
- Some college education (required)
- One year of medical office experience, including front-of-office duties and answering phones (required)
- Prior authorization experience through Availity, United Healthcare portal, and CoverMyMeds
- Experience with eClinicalWorks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams
