Job Summary
A company is looking for a Customer Service Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound and make outbound calls in a fast-paced environment
- Create orders and schedule patients to receive equipment as ordered by their doctor
- Verify insurance coverage, process documentation, and communicate with insurance carriers
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year work experience in healthcare administrative, financial, or insurance customer service
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial health plan methodologies preferred
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a rapidly changing environment
