Job Summary
Acting as a business analyst, the full-time remote Customer Service Specialist II will manage complex customer billing inquiries, build relationships with patients, and ensure accurate information is communicated while meeting productivity standards.
Key responsibilities
- Manage large and complex inquiries by liaising between patients, physician offices, clinics, hospitals, and insurance companies
- Build sustainable relationships with patients through effective communication and assistance
- Examine data in multiple patient accounting systems to provide accurate and complete information while documenting all communications
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Two years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of specialty billing and provider-based billing
- Familiarity with the SBO environment and non-SBO environment in Epic
