Job Summary
To support a growing team, the full-time remote Customer Service Support Representative will manage high volumes of outbound and occasional inbound calls regarding account balances, billing inquiries, and payment options while ensuring timely resolution of patient account issues.
Key responsibilities
- Handle a high volume of outbound calls and occasional inbound calls related to billing inquiries and payment options
- Review reports and patient accounts to determine appropriate resolution actions for outstanding balances
- Research and resolve billing, insurance, and account-related issues while maintaining performance goals
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 year or more of healthcare-related call center customer service experience
- Proficiency in navigating multiple computer systems and applications
- Ability to explain complex billing and account information clearly and professionally
- Experience with medical billing, insurance claims, and patient billing processes
