Job Summary
Providing exceptional customer service, the full-time Customer Support Consultant will manage inquiries from veterinary professionals, answering 50-70 calls daily and resolving issues promptly, primarily in a virtual environment with occasional on-site requirements in Westbrook, ME.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between customers and IDEXX laboratories, addressing inquiries and resolving issues effectively
- Provide and clarify lab test results, coordinate follow-up tests, and assist with sample pickup and delivery
- Maintain a high volume of communication, ensuring timely responses and solutions to customer needs
Required qualifications:
- Proven experience in providing exceptional customer service over the phone
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a computer-related or scientific discipline, or equivalent experience
- Strong computer and technical skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a veterinary practice, laboratory setting, or contact center environment preferred
- Ability to maintain a quiet workspace and be available for scheduled business hours
