Job Summary
Serving as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, the remote Customer Support Representative Tier 1 will provide timely and effective support for routine issues, educate customers on system functionality, and escalate complex matters to Tier 2 when necessary.
Key responsibilities
- Handle customer inquiries via phone and ticketing system, providing front-line support for user access and order-related questions
- Document customer interactions and resolve issues effectively, maintaining professional communication throughout the support process
- Educate customers on system features and best practices to enhance product usage and troubleshoot order disputes as needed
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in customer service within the healthcare or durable medical equipment (DME) industry
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and ability to learn job-specific software systems
- Demonstrated organizational skills and effective verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in data entry and documentation
