Job Summary

A company is looking for a Customer Support Specialist (Contract) for a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with customers, providing clear and professional updates on support issues and suggesting workarounds
  • Track and respond to inbound support issues, prioritize tickets, and troubleshoot and understand the issues
  • Develop expertise in the product, modules, and industry to become a resource for customers and other team members
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer facing technical/software support role, preferably in a SaaS or enterprise software company
  • Working knowledge of database concepts and ability to generate troubleshooting SQL queries
  • Experience supporting cloud hosted software and familiarity with XML or JSON based web services
  • Exposure to Java and working knowledge of accounting/finance concepts is a plus
  • Education industry experience is preferred
