Job Summary
To contribute to advanced AI development, the freelance Customer Support Task Author will design and calibrate realistic support triage tasks, including issue resolution and escalation decisions, in a fully remote capacity with flexible hours ranging from 10 to 40 per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Author realistic support task prompts covering customer issue triage, account checks, and escalation decisions
- Write scoring rubrics that define correct routing decisions and resolution paths in objectively checkable terms
- Calibrate task difficulty by adjusting ticket ambiguity and account configuration complexity to appropriately challenge AI models
Required Qualifications
- Experienced support engineer, technical support specialist, or customer success engineer with hands-on product support experience
- Deep familiarity with product failure modes, escalation paths, and support tooling
- Ability to reason through ambiguous support scenarios and articulate correct routing decisions
- Comfortable defining verifiable correctness criteria for resolution or escalation decisions
- Strong written communication skills; tasks and rubrics must be precise and evaluable without interpretation
