Customs Analyst (CCS Required)
Job Summary
To support the timely processing and release of client shipments, the full-time Customs Analyst (CCS Required) will ensure compliance with customs regulations and operating procedures while working remotely in the USA.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of shipments, including creating customs entries and verifying documentation
- Contact relevant teams for missing information and escalate issues as necessary to meet client and customs requirements
- Participate in the day-to-day operations of Release Operations, utilizing system automation tools to enhance efficiency
Required qualifications
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent; an Associate's Degree or post-secondary education is preferred
- Working towards or successful completion of the Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) designation is required
- No prior experience is required for this position
