Job Summary
Demonstrating advanced knowledge of entry writing, the full-time Customs Brokerage Representative will prepare customs entries, manage the clearance process, and coordinate freight delivery while working remotely from Thursday to Monday, midnight to 8:30 AM EST.
Key responsibilities
- Prepares customs entries and oversees the clearance process for all entries
- Communicates documentation discrepancies to clients and supervisors while establishing and maintaining client relationships
- Resolves finance and accounting reconciliation issues and prepares reports using various software packages
Required qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working for a Customs Broker
- Basic knowledge of customs operations, laws, and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Customs Broker License is preferred
