Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Customs Brokerage Representative will manage the accurate preparation, review, and submission of customs entries while ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and maintaining effective communication with customers and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and submit customs entries, ensuring compliance with regulations and accuracy of documentation
- Identify and resolve documentation discrepancies, maintaining communication with all parties involved
- Establish strong relationships with customers, providing timely updates and managing inquiries effectively
Required qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Working knowledge of customs brokerage operations and CBP regulations
- Understanding of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification system
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines
