Job Summary
Working part-time from 1 PM to 6 PM PST, the Customs Brokerage Representative II will handle customs entries, troubleshoot documentation discrepancies, and coordinate freight delivery while ensuring compliance with federal requirements, all from a remote location within commuting distance of Calexico, CA.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare customs entries and manage the clearance process for freight
- Communicate documentation discrepancies with clients and supervisors
- Establish and maintain client relationships while performing general office and data entry tasks
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent
- Basic knowledge of customs operations, laws, and regulations
- Basic computer skills
- Understanding of the Harmonized System (HS) codes
