Job Summary
Supporting US import compliance, the full-time Customs Compliance Specialist will classify import items, maintain compliance data, and facilitate import clearance while working remotely from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Delaware.
Key responsibilities
- Classify new US import items using HTS codes and prepare binding ruling requests
- Maintain classification data and support compliance strategy through broker communications and KPI tracking
- Advise stakeholders on customs compliance matters and audit customs entries to resolve post-entry issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- LCB or CCS certification is a plus, along with SAP S4 experience
- Knowledge of HTSUS classification and 19 CFR regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
