Customs Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting US import compliance in a full-time remote capacity, the Customs Compliance Specialist will ensure adherence to trade regulations, manage classification data, and facilitate import clearance while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Classify new US import items using HTS codes and prepare binding ruling requests
• Maintain classification data and support compliance strategy through KPI tracking and broker communications
• Advise stakeholders on customs compliance matters and audit customs entries to resolve post-entry issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• LCB or CCS certification preferred, along with SAP S4 experience
• Knowledge of HTSUS classification and 19 CFR regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
