Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Customs Import Analyst will manage communications with third parties, ensuring international shipments are cleared for entry into the US while maintaining attention to detail during the night shift from Tuesday to Friday, 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate with US Customs, clients, and shipping companies to facilitate the clearance of international imports
- Input required information into the database using multiple computer programs
- Collaborate with internal departments and government agencies to resolve discrepancies
Required qualifications
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred
- Experience in a Customs Brokerage environment is an asset
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail is critical for success
