Cyber Architecture Manager

Job Summary

Leading the cybersecurity department, the full-time remote Manager, Cyber Architecture will manage the university's security architecture, oversee specialized teams executing cybersecurity strategies, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while collaborating with stakeholders across the university ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assessments and recommend security solutions at the enterprise or local level, including research security
• Lead the strategic development and execution of comprehensive security architecture, ensuring alignment with architectural principles
• Direct specialized teams to implement security strategies, fostering a culture of excellence and compliance

Required qualifications

• 7 years of experience in security architecture design and network security or related fields
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Extensive experience in security architecture design with the ability to implement effective security frameworks
• Proven knowledge of network security technologies and solutions
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and the ability to apply them effectively
