Cyber Defense Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cyber Defense Analyst to join their Cyber Defense Operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage security alerts across various platforms and investigate alerts for escalation
• Participate in incident response engagements, including evidence collection and forensic analysis
• Contribute to detection rule design and AI integration to enhance security operations

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a SOC, security operations, or incident response role
• Understanding of common attack frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK) and network protocols
• Experience with at least one SIEM platform and familiarity with EDR platforms
• Comfort using AI systems in security workflows
• Familiarity with cloud environments (IaaS preferred)
