Cyber Defense Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cyber Defense Analyst to support cybersecurity monitoring and incident response operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cybersecurity monitoring, incident detection, triage, analysis, and response activities
• Investigate cybersecurity incidents using various security monitoring platforms and tools
• Support incident response activities and document findings, response actions, and recommendations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and network security monitoring tools
• Knowledge of incident response methodologies and federal cybersecurity frameworks
• Experience supporting cloud security operations in AWS, Azure, or hybrid environments
