Cyber Defense Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cyber Defense Analyst - Jr.

Key Responsibilities

• Support cybersecurity monitoring and cyber defense operations within the Security Operations Center (SOC)
• Monitor and analyze security alerts generated by various cybersecurity tools
• Assist in incident response activities and document cybersecurity incidents and findings

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, SOC analysis, or incident response
• Experience with cybersecurity monitoring tools such as SIEM, EDR, and IDS/IPS
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity incident response processes and threat analysis concepts
• Knowledge of federal cybersecurity standards and frameworks, including NIST guidance
