Job Summary

Focusing on threat hunting and detection engineering, the contract Cyber Defense Threat Detection Analyst will engage in security monitoring, log collection, and alert development while working remotely for a duration of six months.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct threat hunting and detection engineering activities
• Perform log collection and normalization for security monitoring
• Develop and tune alerts while analyzing gaps in cyber defense programs

Required qualifications

• Experience in threat detection and incident response
• Proficiency in security monitoring tools and techniques
• Knowledge of log management and analysis
• Familiarity with IOC (Indicator of Compromise) methodologies
